Cute but short

We bought this dress for our daughter's "newborn" photos taken at 8 weeks old. She big for her age but solidly wearing a size 3m. We got the 3m size of this dress and it fit perfectly except that it was very short. The bottom of the skirt didn't even come past her bum. That style would be fine if it were paired with a diaper cover or bloomers, but this one didn't. I had to search high and low for a solution, finally landing on some cream-colored knit tights with ruffles on the bum. It worked okay for our purposes but I would have preferred is the skirt had just been an inch longer and I didn't have to go through all the trouble.
