High-Waisted leggings have potential

These pants have the potential to be super cute. They are high-waisted and definitely an upgrade to normal leggings. They can be dressed up for work or a night out or kept casual. The seam on the front of the leggings wasn't sewn correctly or maybe it ripped but I never got to wear them due to the fact that the seam was ripped. I ordered a size medium which was the recommended measurement however, I'd like to know if they needed to be sized up. They could be too baggy but I would have to get both sizes to find out.
