My Perfect Bedding Collection
I love the Barbara Barry Poetical bedding collection. I looked at a lot of bedding collections and nothing caught my eye as much as this one. I agree with the other reviewers on the color; the "silver" is actually taupe, so it is puzzling why it is called "silver." That's why it is so helpful to have reviews on products though; you'll have a better idea of what to expect! Knowing that it was more taupe than silver, I ordered this bedding set anyway and am so pleased! I've had it for almost a month and it seems to be well made -- and should be for the high price. It is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for to redo the master bedroom.
Not what I expected
I ordered the duvet and euro shams online and just received it in the mail. I have to say I am a little disappointed because the color is not gray, it's more beige/light brown. I will have to return it because it does not match my room.

Excellent Product... but Color Confusion
The minute I saw this duvet I knew I had to have it. It's beautiful online, and it's just as beautiful in person! It's really well made, too. But I'm surprised more people haven't commented about the color. On the website (unless you zoom to the max, which I didn't!), it appears to be a solid silvery gray. When you get it home (or zoom the pictures to the max), you see that it's not solid at all -- it's a light cross-stitch pattern. Also, it's not really gray -- it's a light brown color. I guess if I squint it kind of looks gray -- but not really! I still LOVE it, but it's definitely not what I was expecting. I love the cross-stitch pattern more than I would've loved the solid, but I do wish it had been a little more gray.
You can't go wrong with this set
We registered for this set. We have espresso colored furniture and it looks awesome next to that and we found silk curtains in the sea glass color that really tie the room together. I think my husband actually agreed to it b/c it was gray in color and not too "girly". It looks luxurious and feels luxurious and we get a ton of compliments when we show people our new house.
