We have all of these except the elusive merman. We love them! They are my 3 year olds favorite Barbie’s of all time. So fun to reveal and collect! Wish us luck finding the merman.

My daughter is very happy with the doll, very interesting colour change outfit,she loves it.We got the purple mermaid doll.

Looks exactly as pictured and does work like described. It is so much fun to do. I keep the water for a little while because if you tape/cover the hole at top you can shake it up and watch it swirl again.

This was the perfect cherry on top to my niece's beach birthday party. It taught her how to care for nature(not dumping the color reveal fluid on the sand or in the sea), taught her how to be careful/neat (not making a mess out of the process), and most of all: how to have a colorful imagination. There's nothing like a mermaid doll swimming in the actual ocean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reveal is great the doll itself can use improvement. The face was really nice my kiddo loves these reveal dolls. The downside is there is barely any articulation in the doll. It is grossed in a elongated mermaid state. She can’t bend at the waist of tail. The clothes are painted on so you cannot change her details or her pose which limits play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves mystery boxes so this was fantastic. The very long hair was a huge hit. Its great that it comes with an easy sized tube for color changing play, but is also a wonderful bath time barbie! She has been playing with this barbie so much and i cannot find a flaw. The extra tail comes on and off easily, too. Though, once she has attached it she hasn't removed it! Great toy with lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter attended a swim party and a few of the kids had "mermaid barbies". So of course, the next few weeks all we heard was "i want a mermaid barbie!". We hadn't really seen any around, they seemed to be retired or not popular anymore? Anyway, when this line came out, we were super excited. We waited until xmas, but she was still super excited. And as all kids desire now, that dopamine rush of the "surprise reveal" did not disappoint. The water was swirly, the mermaid we got was cute and actually, luckily, perfectly matched to her personality. The dolls are longer than regular barbies, their facial features are different. We're pleased and she finally has her own mermaid! As always, I hope to see more ethincally representational dolls in all barbie lines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to start by saying the Color Reveal Barbies are my daughter's absolute favorite ever since the first series came out. We were disappointed in this one because once you see the hair, the "surprise" element is gone. The older styles were preferred. This didn't have as many accessories as others as well. Having said that, she is one of the prettiest Barbies we have owned. My daughter is obsessed with the amazing hair. If the original full surprise was still part of it, it would have been perfect.
