I had see these Barbour rain boots offered last Fall and was curious as to how they fit as I have several pairs of another brand that are similar in style but have a tendency to be a bit tight in the calf area. When I saw that they were offered at such a great price I decided to order a pair my size-11’s in the Navy. I had read from another reviewer that they were very hard to get off once on. When they arrived, my Wife suggested I try them on with a trouser sock. The boots slid Easily On and Off with the trouser socks. I had planned on wearing these for messy yard work jobs but they Felt and Fit so well in both the foot and calf I decided to save them for work on wet and slushy snow days to transition into my Dressy Leather Boots. I thought I could wear them for Casual Outings as well with either my Leggings or Skinny Jeans too. I’d Definitely recommend these for both Women or Men and Especially Gurls like myself wanting a Comfortable Good Looking Rain Boot.
Wide calf folks... Find another brand!
I've been searching forever for rain boots. I brought these in hopes that it would fit. Before I left the store with my online order, I tried them on and the calf was very narrow. Great rainboots but not for large calfs. For reference, my calfs are 16 1/2 in ( 42 1/2 cm). Shoe size 9.
