Cute but too high waisted

I normally wear a 6 and bought a 7 in this dress. It fit really well and seemed well made. I liked the drape of the skirt and fitted top. Unfortunately I am very tall with a long torso and the waist of this dress hit around my lower rib, not my natural waistline. This makes the dress look more childish in my opinion. If you have a normal or shorter torso I would recommend this dress to you. If you are taller with a long torso I would only suggest buying this dress if you're looking for something that hits below an empire waist, but above the natural waistline. It's also a little short, I wouldn't wear it to work, but would love wearing it on summer days in my free time.
