Giving Compassion
I enjoyed reading this book. It shows a gentle way of giving compassion through kindness. The illustations carry the text in a manner a child would understand when another child feels upset or emotional. Perfect for young readers learning about friendship.

Beautiful way of showing how to 'Be Kind'
I bought this book for my son when he started preschool where he would meet many different friends. I wanted to teach him how to 'be kind' before he entered to the complex social world. This book captures such desire of every parent. It tells a story of two little girls in a beautiful way by showing what is kindness and how to be kind. This is about being kind and how kindness can spread out and make big changes in our lives. Unlike the other books telling and offering what is kindness without questions, children would get the opportunity to think about for themselves through a story in a situation which would possibly happen in everyone's life. In this book, the protagonist asks a question to herself (and to readers too!) - “What does it mean to be kind anyway?” Her journey to find her own answers to 'what is to be kind' brought us a very meaningful moment to think about for ourselves as well. Later on, I found my son sitting right next to this shy girl who can't speak English and he told me he just wanted to be a good company. So he found his own way to be kind to other people, in this case it was giving her some space but being next to her at the same time. I was so proud! It would also please adult readers as much as to our little ones. Being kind is one of the most important topics every parent would like to teach their kids and this book invites readers to think about how to teach our kids to 'be kind’ to others.
