Designed for adults or those with a minimum body weight of 120lbs, this 60"x70" weighted blanket distributes pressure on your body, touching pressure points to make you feel secure and relaxed. The faux mink grey cover features diamond quilting and the weighted insert has box quilting to prevent the polyester and glass bead filling from shifting. Ten inner ties paired with a zipper closure on the cover keeps the insert secure.The cover itself is machine washable for easy care, while the insert needs to be spot cleaned. With its polyester and glass bead filling for weight, this heavy blanket creates a better quality rest. Available in 12lb and 18lb weights.

hmmmm

It does slide around on the bed. While it says 'queen size', it lies exactly on top of the mattress, no overlap like a spread, so when two people are in bed under the blanket somebody gets short-changed. It is heavy, though.

Only weighs 8 pounds

I purchased one in grey a while back and liked it so much I bought another in white. The white seemed different. I checked the inside tags and it says net weight is 10 oz on the shell and 7 lbs 12oz on the insert. Definitely does not feel like 12 lbs. Really disappointed.

Cozy

So cozy! It does take some time and patience to untie the cover, wash, then retie to the inner weighted part. However, it is a definite plus to be able to wash it (cheaper blankets are one-piece but cannot be washed, spot-cleaned only). Feels lovely, no shedding at all!

Great weighted blanket

Great weighted blanket. I have washed the outer cover and it has held up great. My husband loves this blanket as well - when he uses it he falls asleep in minutes.
