Not what I thought it would be

I purchased this blanket during the winter months. I work in a high stress environment, and suffer from anxiety. I had heard positive things about weighted blankets helping to alleviate anxiety, while promoting better sleep. I used this blanket for a week and woke up every night feeling hot and suffocated. I gave it to my partner and he didn't like it either. It might make a good couch throw.
