Better customer service for horrible product that sags
losing form and sinking
The mattress feels different than the one in the showroom, much much firmer. I called to voice my displeasure was told it needs some "break-in" time, you have a try out period just use it until then. Of course it became worse i actually bought 2 mattresses one for me and one for my mom we both experiencing problems. Mattress has lost its form and sinking on one side, i am experiencing back discomfort and just started going to a chiropractor who rule my issues are related to the mattress. No i passed the try out stage and i have 2 bad mattress, very disappointed.

Much firmer than in the showroom be aware
The mattress feels different than the one in the showroom, much much firmer. I was told it needs some "break-in" time... Before this, I was sleeping on a plush mattress so that you can imagine the difference in the firmness. I woke up with sore back for the first week and seriously considering returning the mattress. But slowly, I can also tell my back is straightened a lot, and 10 minutes after I got up, I feel my shoulder has opened up, and I have a better posture. So I googled how to break-in the mattress faster, they say walk on the bed is the quickest way, so I did it, and it breaks in quickly. It is still nowhere near the one in the showroom, but I think in a few weeks it will. It is hard to sleep if you never had a firm mattress before. So be aware when you receive the firm version it will be much firmer at the beginning.
Droopy mattress after 2 months!!
We have had this mattress for 2 months and the bed is sunken in on one side of the bed! We made huge mistake and waved the warenty after they tore the mattress upon delivery ( longer story and more charges because we originally purchased the high box spring and the bed was then to tall for us) - not anticipating a Macy’s product would not be of high quality and hold up!! I Called store manager and got an email response” nothing we can do”. I will not purchase and large purchase item at Macy’s again! It’s been a condition of errors on both my part and the stores- but there has been zero customer service for this high cost- poor quality item . Go to a store that exclusively sells mattresses!! I thought there was something to there reputation! Yes I am a very unhappy customer.
Not like store feel
We got this mattress delivered early October and it feels nothing like the one in the store. Went back to the store for my husband to try the mattress and he agrees it feels nothing like the one delivered. Ours is super firm vs comfy like store model. Spoke to Simmons about the quality of the mattress and she stated that we should give it another few weeks or buy a mattress topper to make the comfort level more appropriate for our liking. We have tried that now for the last two weeks so will be interested in seeing what removing the topper does to the feel of the mattress— if it is not improved we will be returning for a different model.
