For the first week we had this mattress it lived on my living room floor, while I waited for a new bed frame to arrive. Every time I laid on it (because it was irresistible) I was amazed at how comfortable it was. I was not disappointed when it found its final home in my bedroom. I like a nice firm mattress but also like some plushness. I feel like this mattress accomplished just that, a nice firm form with a soft topper. I am a plus size person so I also feel it’s worth noting that the mattress holds my weight well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beautyrest Silver BRS900 Medium Firm mattress is just the right fit! We switched from a firm mattress, so were concerned that this would not be firm enough, but the pocketed coils allow for individual support just where it's needed. The top layers (plush comfort foam and AirCool foam) add a bit of softness, but not enough to be too soft or take away from the firm level that we were seeking. As with any new mattress, there was a short adjustment period. I'm a side/stomach sleeper, spouse is a back sleeper, and we're both sleeping very comfortably!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this mattress for about a month, so I feel like I’ve put together a solid list of thoughts. I broke these up into sections. First impressions: The mattress came well-packaged, fully sealed in heavy plastic. After unwrapping it, I didn’t notice any sort of strong scent, or off-gassing, for anyone who might be sensitive. The texture of the mattress is interesting. It reminds me of a thermal undergarment, sort of a waffle pattern. Does it match its description? Yes, in many ways, I think it does. I would agree that this mattress has a medium firmness. It was very warm in the house the day it was delivered, but when I slept, it didn’t retain body heat and make me sweat. Side sleeping and back sleeping: I quite like this mattress for side sleeping. I have inflamed joints from arthritis, but this mattress does not cause me to develop pressure points during the night. I like that it supports the contours of the body, and keeps my back in alignment. I have slept on it less often on my back, but it is comfortable as well. I feel supported, with just enough give to keep my back comfortable. Other thoughts: I do have one small complaint — there are no handles or grippers on the sides to easily maneuver the mattress. That would have been helpful when setting the bed up, or for rotating the mattress on the frame from time to time. This is also my first queen mattress, and it appears to be standard size. No need to purchase deep sheets, as there is no pronounced pillow topper present. I will say that I don’t think this mattress needs a topper, either.

I didn’t know that my old mattress was causing so much of my daily back pain and inability to sleep. This mattress is the perfect firmness for me and cradles my body with support. I sleep like a baby on this mattress. The delivery was easy and awesome to setup and they arrived on time.

He is twice the size of me, so his side inevitably forms dips and flattens, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. I think we may have finally found a keeper in this Beautyrest! This is the firmest mattress we have ever had, and at first I thought it was going to be too firm for me. But after giving it a few weeks to break in, I am now sleeping like a baby!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is very comfortable, I maybe should have gotten the medium instead of medium firm but I am definitely sleeping better on this mattress compared to my last mattress. While it’s firm, inside the top of mattress is a layer of padding that conforms to my body which cradles me but doesn’t sink me in. Both me and my bf have noticed our backs are no longer stuff and aching in the morning. We have also noticed that while it doesn’t eliminate transfer motion from one of us moving, it is reduced so we disturb each other less. Standard queen size sheets fit nicely. though the mattress is quite thick.
