Firm, but hugs you. Gives great support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this mattress for about a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. It's firm and supportive. The only complaint I have is that the actual pillow top has become shifted--I'm not sure how to fix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rating a mattress is really relative because it all depends on what you like. I'm a side or stomach sleeper so I need a really soft mattress. My husband is a back sleeper but he also prefers very soft. This mattress was SO hard. When it arrived, my husband jumped on it to lay down and he barely bounced back up. We both had a terrible night sleep because it felt like we were sleeping on the hard ground. My parents slept on it and loved it, but they like firm beds and are obese.

I am very comfortable on this bed for the first 30min to 1 hour (or so). During the night, though, I find myself sinking in. By morning, I feel like I’m in quicksand. This a medium firm queen size, pillow top. My suspicion is that the culprit is the pillow top feature that’s allowing me to sink in so much. Unfortunately I’m going to have to return it because I’m waking up with back pain every morning, from about my mid-back to my glutes. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve had enough. When I sleep on my back, mu butt sinks in. When I sleep on my side it feels good but I wake up with rib & side pain. I want to provide an informative review of my personal experience with this mattress, in hopes it will help others in their decision making. So I want to add that I noticed extensive SINKING after I broke in the mattress with the adjustable base. Because I sleep on this mattress alone, I only use one side; and that’s the side that’s sinking because that’s the side I sit in when I raise up the head with the adjustable base. I wondered if perhaps this model isn’t compatible w/the adjustable base but this website indicates it is. Oddly, the OTHER SIDE (that I don’t use) is still holding it’s shape & in the middle of the night, the last couple of days, I’ve pulled myself out of the side that feels like quicksand and rolled into the other side, which doesn’t sink as badly. So I don’t know what happened here. I’ve never been able to tolerate pillow tops or mattresses that are not “firm” (this one is medium firm)... so I went against my better judgment in selecting a pillow top & medium firm because I laid in it for 30min at the store and liked it! So I took a chance. Finally, I want to mention my body shape. I’m a 5’7” female and 215lbs. I read somewhere on this webpage that pillow tops aren’t generally designed to hold up 200+ lbs without sinking. So there’s another factor. I’m sure this is a good mattress... just not for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our bed about a month and a half ago. It is very comfortable to sleep on. The medium pillow top gives it just enough cushion yet still somewhat firm. Provides a good night sleep! No mattress topper is necessary with this bed. Would highly recommended purchasing this bed, overall quality is very good. Only con would be that the bed sits pretty high on the box spring. Does not effect the feel of the bed though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillow top was not too thick and is a comfortable medium firmness. So far from the Two months of sleeping on it, the quality seems to be high and will last a while. With our box springs the bed sits high. The comfort is uniform throughout the entire bed and doesnt seem to have any weak spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched from a memory foam to this mattress and am very glad we did. The medium firmness is perfect for both of us. My husband normally likes very firm and I prefer soft and this has been an excellent compromise. I find this mattress does not cause me the shoulder problems I had previously because it allows for good movement while still providing the support we need for his back and my neck. We are very happy that when we switch this mattress is also compatible with an adjustable bed. With us getting older that is going to come in very handy and we won't again have to replace a mattress. The platforms were really easy to move by myself but sturdy under the mattress as well. I'm not sure about the lumbar support. I did not notice much difference in support if any and I was rather hoping it would. The material is very soft and fits well within our existing mattress protector. Overall a very comfortable mattress with lots of versatility providing the support we both need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really loving this mattress and base. The pillow top makes it so comfortable. We really get a great night's sleep. It is well made. It was rather high on our frame so we removed the frame and placed the mattress and base right on the floor and it's perfect.
