It is a beautiful ceramic tea kettle made of good quality but… The handle is so ergonomically dysfunctional it is very difficult to pick up with one hand unless your hand is incredibly large. The handle is so wide and the kettle front heavy that it pushes forward and down when you pick it up causing real strain on the wrist. I often have to use two hands to hold it up when making cone coffee. It is also quite a heavy kettle being that it is ceramic. It would not be good for someone with arthritis...weak or small hands. It is laborious as it is not designed well. I feel that it is quite a large kettle but does not hold that much water either. I often have to refill it and then refill it again. I bought it because of the five star rating but for every day use I find that it’s not that functional. I am a fifty year old woman with small hands but a strong disposition and find this kettle incredibly laborious to use.
Beautiful and Useful
I love this ceramic kettle. It is not only pretty to look at but it warms the water pretty fast. The only downside would be that it can get heavy if you fill it up but since I am the only one that drinks tea at my house, it works great for me.
Attractive
I like this very much and bought a secone one for myself and one for my sister. The spout on my first one has chips. Called Bella customer service and no one ever answered the hold it put me on. Emailed and it took over a month to answer. Followed their instructions and supplied info they requested. No response. Emailed again. Took awhile then they asked for the same info again. Wish I had returned this to the store but its too late now. It is clear that Bella has no intentions of replacing the chipped product. They never answered my question if it was safe to use chipped. Does it have lead? I do recommed buying this but if you have a problem, return to store. My previous review was not published. Maybe Macys won't publish a complaint review.

Heavy, sturdy, heats fast. Turns off automatically after reaching boiling point.

Never have I used an electric tea Pot. This is awesome! Heats the water fast. When you remove it from its stand the bottom is not hot so you can sit it on anything. It automatically shuts itself off once it has the water heated. Love it!

When I got this I never heard of electric tea kettles and was skeptical. The first time I used this one I was amazed!! It is truly an awesome product and I will never go back to a regular tea pot!!! Heats fast and now I use it for cooking and baking as well!!!
It is Perfect!
This one is a beauty, it reminds me of good old style before cheap plastic invaded our kitchens. Family heirloom, I will pass it on to my descendants if it survives. We use it to boil water for our coffee, but this morning I made a ginger and cinnamon tea, it smelled home sweet home all over my house.
