South Sea Island Pearl Necklace

I was looking for a south sea island pearl necklace for my daughter's 30th birthday. I have a freshwater double strand from Belle De Mer that I love, so I went to Macy's to see what they had in stock. I was a bit disappointed, because Macy's did not carry a first quality strand of south sea island pearls in the front area of fine jewelry. I was sent to the back section by a sales woman who was telling me Macy's only had freshwater. Well, surprise to her we found A+ Akoya cultured pearls within the Belle De Mer collection. My only lament is I wanted a larger pearl, 7-71/2. It was not in stock. I checked at a second Macy's and that store didn't have it either. I am happy with the price and the quality was good.

I needed to buy a birthday gift for my girlfriend. I purchased these pearls and the result was fantastic. Great luster, roundness and no blemishes. The color and reflection are well worth the price.
