This is not so heavy but boy does it keep you warm. You dont need to layer with this blanket. Pleasantly surprised

Keeps me warm

I bought this in 3 different colors. Washed them separately for fear of pilling. No pilling was noted. The blanket hugs me and is so soft and smooth!
