Broken Earring but Still Lovely

These earrings took quite a while to arrive and when they did, oh my goodness. They are adorable but the posts were completely bent. I had to use jewelry pliers to straighten them out. It was clear that the package had been stomped, tossed or maybe even run over. Upon arrival, the envelope was a filthy mess. While these earrings had all the pieces, the posts were bent to the side. Thank God I had tools to fix them. Shame on Macy's for not packaging the earrings better. I should have taken a photo of the bent posts. Usually, Macy's does better at packaging and sending their products. This is far below their standards, and I should have returned them, but I didn't feel up to that still getting over the flu.
