Shipped but not shipped

I received an email saying your item has shipped. Seven days later it still hasn't. Don't send an email saying, "your item has shipped," automatically just because a label was created. Should there be a delay, fine, communicate it. I would love to leave a review, but I still don't have the product. Me getting this review is proof alone that the system is flawed or the problem is with the manufacturer. Hope the product is better than the communication.
