Not for me...

I needed a pair of white sandals for a trip to Mexico. I've never worn Birks before so I thought I'd try them given their popularity. I typically wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes depending on the style. Purchased the 8 and while the for seemed fine, I found the small to be clunky, hard and uncomfortable. Not sure what the hype is about. Ended up returning.

Glue

Unfortunately, the pair that arrived were defective. There was yellow glue leaking out between the footbed and sole, all along the edges.

Description not accurate

Sadly, these sandals do not have the soft footbed, so I'm returning them.

Looked like a train wreck.

Ordered these Birkenstock sandals as a gift. I checked the box stating they were a gift. The shoe box they came in looked like a train wreck. The box was dilapidated and the paper inside was wadded up under the shoes. In order to return them, they would charge me $9.99 shipping, and the nearest Macy’s was an hour away. I drove the hour. Will never order online from Macy’s again as they do not care what you get.

These are NOT soft footbed. Also, there is no way to specify between purchasing Narrow and Regular sizing. Would not recommend purchasing Birkenstocks online through Macy’s.
