Don’t buy

Terrible Vaccum. Owned for just over a year and it started making loud noise. I checked for clogs, cleaned filters , took off roller bar . These are all the suggestions by Bissell to trouble shoot this. It continued loud noise and getting louder. Now it barely picks up anything. Waste of money ! So mad I have to buy another vacuum! It will not be a BISSELL ! Save your money , and get something else. In googling this issue , it seems to be a known issue for some time. Wished I’d seen reviews stating so before I bought it! UGH. Hope my review helps others.

Love this Vacuum!

This Vacuum has great suction. It is Effortless to dump out canister. Easy to replace parts and light enough to move around the house easily.

I wouldn't buy again. Prefer less complicated.

I use this product to vacuum a very "fluffy" house due to my 2 Maine Coon cats. They shed nonstop plus I have 3 litter boxes and as much as I try to get litter that they don't "drag" everywhere I buy what I can afford. I am in my 70's and this vacuum is a bit on the heavy side. Of course I've had to take it apart to clean it. For me, there are just too many parts to have to contend with every other week. I was hoping maybe for simpler?!

Conquered by pet hair

Conquers pet hair? Not quite. After a year of use, pet hair collected in the end of the beater roller. The thin plastic part of the beater that holds the beater in place melted from the friction (see picture). There is no apparent way to service this area before failure. Took a picture but it won't upload. Also, hair builds up in vacuum head on tile floor unless I run the beater to clear it.

Love it! One of the best I've used!

I have been using a Dyson stick for quite a few years now, and I have always disliked it, for a few reasons. I was so excited to get a standup again - and I've not been disappointed! I cannot believe how much fur and dirt it picked up on regularly vacuumed carpet!

Good Not Great Vacuum

Have had this vaccum since Christmas 2023. In that time, we have replaced the rubber band on the roller a few times which is normal as we have pets. That means lots of pet hair that collects down there and has to be cleaned out. Something that really bummed me out was that we had to replace the roller and bottom plate. The roller failed and starting burning through the plastic on one side of the bottom plate. I got new parts from Bissell and the vaccum works great again. Just lame that a good priced vacccum had those parts fail in less than a year.

Works well so far

Delivered quickly and on time. Like the rewind feature and cord seems to be a good length. We are so pleased that the pet hair eraser attachment actually works! All the others that we have had never worked or picked up hair. The canister is kind of small so it has to be emptied after every use. Hope the vacuum lasts for a long time.
