Wonderful protection from the pointy bits

I store my crampons in these bags and couldn't ask for a better solution. Durable, fairly compact, holes to drain any water, etc all combine into an extremely useful tool to protect all of your nice things from the spikes.

Great Protection

This is a great all-round bag for sharp objects. I was hesitant wrapping my crampons in my gators and stuffing them in my pack as some do. I was paranoid I'd punch a hole in my puffy. This is a great solution and must have! Another great BD product.

Heavy duty, emphasis on *heavy*

high quality, offers strong protection, and allows water to drip out from the bottom. But, even if I have nothing else that offers the same level of protection, I avoid it when going ultralight, as the tradeoff between weight and usefulness doesn't pay off for me.

Solid Organizer

Keeps the stuff where it should be in my pack and protects the lightweight pack material from puncture while on approach. I wish it would pack down a little easier and there are lighter options on the market. Cant complain too much though, it keeps my screws from banging around on the way to ice and keeps my crampons organized at home, which is why I bought it.

Saves pack and puffy from damage!

So much easier to transport sharp stuff when loading a big pack. Heavy duty fabric keeps other things safe from harm.
