Good blanket but doesn’t breath!

This blanket is definitely a nice blanket but my biggest issue with it is that it does not breath. The first night I used it I loved the weight of it on me and it was cool to the touch. However after about an hour I started to get this cool but clammy feeling because the blanket doesn’t allow any air in. The second night I tried a thin blanket in between me and the weighted blanket and I woke up sweating. The third night I was having some anxiety and just needed the weight on my shoulders and across my chest. So I wrapped the blanket around my shoulders ( no easy feat as the blanket is 20 pounds) and folded it over my chest. That night I had the best night sleep I have had in awhile. The blanket is the size of a throw blanket so if you toss and turn to readjust at night your going to have to fight with this blanket to keep yourself covered. All in all I think this blanket is great for a nap or to calm you down but it’s hard to use all night.

Love it

I could write an entire article about this blanket. Basically, for the first time in 6 years, I'm sleeping all night and never wake up in a sweat. I got it half off plus had a$50. Coupon. Otherwise I don't think I would have tried it. I'm so glad I did. I have MS and had Shingles Meningitis 6 years ago. The meningitis really messed my sleep up plus I have the crazy legs from the Meningitis. The blanket feels cool on my back, which helps me relax. I'm never hot or cold, just right. Love it. Look forward to going to bed at night.
