Poor quality on jar gasket

Same issue here. Rubber part shredded eventually leaking from jar while blending. Wish this problem would be fixed. Jars are expensive and so now I have to get a replacement. Or how much we spend on this machine there should be no issues like this but I love the blender

does not last very long

I had this jar coming with the original blendtec. The number on the panels show 643 which I guess means I used this machine not more than 643 times and half of them may use the smaller jar. I just realized recently it is already leaking. can't repair it either.

Right size for family smoothies

We use this jar primarily for morning smoothie bowls and a wide variety of other things like grinding wheat for sourdough. Recommend for sure if you don't have one.

Better Than Original Jar

Better than the original jar that was purchased many years ago. This jar reduces the sound of the machine and my smoothies blend much quieter than before. Expensive, but happy with the purchase.

gasket shredding

has been a great jar until it wasn't. You've seen videos on youtube of Blendtec blending Ipad, iPhone, etc.? well, don't do couple of frozen banana halves! The gasket loses that battle. Gasket particles in your drink!! I filled out the contact form on blendtec's web page, no reply.

7 yrs using same jar

I have been using my jar twice a day at least 5 days out of the week and it finally gave out. I can say I got good use out of it. Time for a new shiny one !!!
