Horrible quality, after only having this shoe six months it fell apart. The Born quality is extremely poor, defective workmanship. I didn't wear thus shoe everyday and expected the shoe to last more than a few months in this higher end price. Disappointed in Born and Macys for not standing behind their product. Also I made several attempts to upload pictures and pictures were within their type and size requirements and still did not upload!
Beautifully constructed walking shoe
I have owned shoes by Born in the past and have always loved the quality and styles. Two older pairs needed to be retired and there were no local outlets for that brand anymore. Our local Macy's was one that was closed a few years ago and the closest still open is not convenient and did not stock Born in that store. I looked at the sizes and shapes of the Borns still in my closet and found something online that I liked in color and construction style to try. But buying shoes online is difficult to guess and I hated the idea of trying. But I did it anyway. I accidentally ordered the wrong size first as I found the website would reset when switching from color to color and the order for a 6 went through and I was unable to get it canceled. As stock on the style was low, I ordered the 6.5 an hour later figuring I might as well try both sizes to see where I was in this shoe. They arrived as expected and I thought the color was good, the sole was good and the interior very comfortable with a padded lining. The 6 fit beautifully barefoot or with a light nylon ankle height "socklet" and when I tried the 6.5 it was not huge, but perfect with an actual sock for cooler weather. So I ended up keeping both, for multiple uses and seasons. And as low as I am on shoes right now, I will have more versatility. A bit expensive to do but avoided the hassle of a return of either or regrets on which to keep. I have only worn the 6 so far but will be trying the 6.5 soon

A very comfy casual shoe. Has some padding on the inside at the bottom that really makes a difference.

This is the best shoe ever made, this shoe is perfect great support it's everything that a shoe needs I love this shoe. I recommend this shoe I will be buying born from now on.
