Don't trust the online reviews-- this mattress will not hold up
We bought this mattress after watching the online reviews that say it's a great mattress for side sleepers. One on one, the mattress is passable, but there is something they don't test in all the online reviews-- couples sharing a mattress. My partner is slightly heavier than me, which makes all objects fall into his crater. The mattress we had before was able to keep us supported in our own right. When we cuddle, my legs (and torso) are unnaturally angled against the wall of the crater. Furthermore, we upgraded to the Elite because of the supposed Ergo zone that gives more support to hips. Instead, we find our hips sink way more than our shoulders, which often go numb because there is no give in the shoulder area, whereas our hips sink into said hole. I am a tall 5'10 lightweight woman below 150 lbs with wide-ish shoulders and no junk in the trunk, so the physics of the situation are perplexing (usually my taller height means weight is distributed across a wider area and the sink is minimal). Anyone with a heavier midriff/waist would be at a V shape in this mattress, and for the sake of their chiropractic health, not sleeping a second on their side in that scenario.

Good, just not great mattress
Nice, comfortable mattress, just not as "Wow!" as I had hoped based upon its high, top of the line price. If I could do it again, I'd choose the mid-range mattress.

*Finally*, I'm done looking for a mattress!
I have back and neck issues. About 4 years ago we decided to replace our aged sleep number mattress, which was causing me a lot of pain. We first tried 3 Saatva mattresses: the medium and soft versions of their classic mattress, and their Loom & Leaf mattress. All three were too hard, to the point of making my arm go fully asleep when sleeping on my side, which is something I'd never experienced before. They also all started sagging within a month or so. Their mattress toppers didn't help. (To Saatva's credit, they took them all back with no hassles at all. ) We then tried a Helix Sunset Elite, and it was much better. We slept on it for a couple of years, and then after a month-long trip to Europe, I noticed that I had had a little less pain sleeping on the trip than at home. I decided the Sunset was a little too soft for me and we bought the Midnight Elite and moved the Sunset Elite to our guest room. The Midnight Elite is the best mattress I've ever slept on. My pain issues are all almost nearly gone (my back and neck pain issues are severe enough that I don't think it is realistic to expect absolutely no pain whatsoever). The other day, my wife (who is much smaller than me) said "I love this mattress!" I actually initially opted for the Sunset Elite because of all my troubles with the Saatva mattresses. I feared the Midnight Elite would be too hard. It isn't. It feels just right.

This has been a great
This has been a great mattress. This is our first elite model after having come from the lux and we do feel it’s a step up in quality. My wife and I have been sleeping better than ever as a couple. My only criticism is that the bed is physically shorter than the other kings we have had in the past so it doesn’t fit in our bed frame as well. There is about a 2-3 inch gap that we didn’t have before. That’s a minor thing but it’s noticeable enough that I thought I would mention it.

Better Sleep
I spent a lot of time researching new mattresses before deciding on this one. The mattress I received is firmer than the one I tried in a showroom and not quite as cooling once sheets are on it, but it's comfortable and has helped me with my decades-long insomnia. I am pleased with my purchase and think it will become more plush feeling the longer I sleep on it. This was the most I've spent on a single purchase other than a car. I don't regret it.

Bed is not near as
