The shoe I’ve been looking for

Accurate sizing, great fit and is very stable. Responsive. Not super plush, but feet still feel good and is exactly what I want.

Do not recommend

Shoes are painful and dig into my ankle. They are also very difficult to put on. Takes a lot of effort

Surprisingly Good

Very surprised by this shoe. As someone who doesn't like my running shoes too tall or soft, this one really hit the mark. The drop feels like the listed 8mm which is perfect. The density of the midsole is also just right. I don't feel any pronation control or guidance witch is another pet peeve. And the toe box is very wide. Almost the perfect shoe for me. The only con is that the fit is too wide, a complaint I rarely have. I have to crank down the laces. I hope Brooks makes more shoes like this one.

I have always worn the Brooks Ghost shoes when running. Gave these a try and instantly had shin splints. They felt incredibly unnatural to run in.

Very uncomfortable due to tight fit

I have owned the Revel 7 and Ghost 17 in size 11.5. Both of these fit well and were very comfortable. These Revel 8 in the same size fit so much different than the others. These are very tight (mostly in the width). So tight, in fact, that they hurt when I first wore them. Since then, they have stretched and broken in a little more, but they are still the most uncomfortable pair of Brooks I have owned. The materials on the Revel 8 seem to be better quality and durability than the Revel 7 from what I see so far. The soles on my Revel 7 wore out after about 1 month of regular walking usage. So far, they have stretched soles of the Revel 8 have worn some after a month of use, but not near as much as the previous model.

Good choice for walking after break in period

Fit is good and work well for what I was looking for - a walker. I miss the cushion feel of a running shoe. These may just require a breakin period. Overall a good choice.

Excellent Shoe

I purchased this model in blue/silver and a somewhat light tan Brooks logo. These are very comfortable and fit true to size.

Runs narrower then the ghost2

Medium width (Toe box) is too narrow for my medium width foot.
