Rain Jacket

Quality is amazing as expected from Marmot. However, my son is broad shouldered and this jacket ran snug in the shoulders for a size Large.

I have not tried it in the rain yet, but it arrived as descibed and is a very good weight.

Great rain gear

Great jacket. It's light, waterproof, yet doesn't suffocate you. Nice pockets and easy to zip. Super lightweight. My new favorite jacket.

I purchased this jacket for backpacking and expected it to be waterproof. However, I was disappointed to find that water soaks in around the shoulders, neck, and arms, after wearing it on a short walk in the rain. I’m disappointed having purchased it because I need something waterproof to take on my backpacking trips.

This is my go-to wind & weather shell

A couple merino layers, a down vest & the Marmit Precip, are my mild winter weather standards. Put ‘em in, & get outside.

This is a great jacket!

I thought I would use this as a raincoat. It is excellent for that purpose, but I use it as an all around jacket. It is really good wind protection, though it has almost no insulating properties.
