My first Brooks! I got these to walk outside and on a treadmill. They’re very supportive, comfortable, and well balanced. They have more cushioning than other brands I’ve tried and are true to size. Just what I need to keep me moving.

Very Good Shoe -- Not Great Like Earlier Ariel Styles

I've been wearing the Brooks Ariel shoes for 15 years. In past years I would say they rated a strong 5 star. However, as years pass I notice the shoe has become a little smaller. I confirmed this when I found a much older pair in the back of the closet! In the Ariel 23 (and 24) the fabric at the toe is not reinforced as in the older pair. Much easier to get a hole from the big toe even when the shoe is the correct size. This pair of Ariel 24 seems to be similar to my last 3 pairs of the Ariel 23 except for the laces. I cannot tie the shoes because the laces are too short when using the "heel lock" method which is necessary for me. I did call and Brooks will send me longer laces but it will be 5 to 8 business days before I receive them. It makes no sense to me to have a heel lock feature with shoe laces that are not long enough. I realize many others do not use the heel lock feature and that complaints were received that the laces were too long. The pairs of Ariel 23 I have do have longer laces (can't use them because they are the wrong color). My suggestion seems logical to me--Brooks should offer the option of longer shoe laces when ordering the shoes. Simple.

You need to have more than one these shoes!

I had a surgery for heel spurs and recently started playing pickleball. This shoes has given my feet outstanding support especially my ankle. I decided to order a second pair! :)

Feet feel great

These make my feet feel great! Easy for me to add my own insoles as well. Easy to walk lots of miles.

Awesome Ariel Support

From the first moment I put on my Ariel shoes my knees felt instant relief! They don’t feel as “cushy” as my previous pair of Adrenalines had but the extra support I have now makes a huge difference in my comfort!

Great fit for unconventional feet

I tend to have issues with shoes due to my previous and condition on my feet, but these shoes have been unbelievably comfortable. They’re pretty balanced, and provide a lot of structure.

I like the ariel shoe. It gives me the best support. Each version of the shoe seems a bit more not well made, tighter, shorter and I hate the colors. The other shoes in the brooks line are pretty but for some reason ariels are extremely ugly.
