Wonderful but runs small.

Very comfortable and attractive! They do run small and narrow. I ended up needing one half size longer and one size wider to fit my foot (I’ve never bought a wide shoe before). But now that I have the proper size they are wonderful!

These are not black

These shoes are decidedly not black-- more charcoal. The Ariel is intended to be similar to Addiction, which is never in stock in black. I guess this one isn't either. Also, like most of the shoes I have purchased by Brooks, the shoelaces are really short. So far this seems like a good stability shoe. I have put about 100 miles of walking and jogging, worn it to office work, and done strength training in this shoe without aggravating my IT Band, so that is good. I STILL WANT A BLACK AND WHITE SHOE.

stability

This is the most supportive and best fitting shoe I have ever owned. I am 80 and don't run much but the stability this shoe adds to my walk is fantastic! I have a high arch and an unstable right ankle but these shoes support my arch and add unbelievable stability to my walk. Thank you Brooks.
