This is the best liquid serum shadow I’ve ever used. It goes on so smooth and looks so natural Mauve Mist is just the right color for my skin and is for all skin tones. Cannot be without. My eyes are sensitive and there’s no irritation at all. Please make more colors!!

Mauve Shadow
As a licensed esthetician in the beauty industry, I am excited to share my professional opinion about the butter LONDON Mauve Mist Sheer Wisdom Serum Shadow & Primer. To start off, I absolutely love the color of this serum shadow, it is stunning. But honestly only straight out of the tube onto my forearm. As soon as I apply it to my eyelid it is like there is no product on my lid at all; which could be a good and a bad thing. If using as a primer, I could understand how that is acceptable, but not as a shadow. This formula is infused with a serum so I like that it nourishes and hydrates your eyelids, while also providing a smooth base for your eyeshadow. Hey friends I’m kimmy makeup artist and cosmetologist. I’m always looking for new products I can use on my clients or recommend to my clients. The Butter London line is so great I’ve tried many different products and have nothing but great experiences. This a wisdom serum shadow and primer so so unique. You can use by itself or as a base and that was very cool to see both in effect. By itself it dries down as a powder like feel and has a nice nude shade. When used as a base it holds onto power fantastic. I was a little worried that combining different products together that is may cause separation or creasing but it held up beautifully. It really adheres to the power that’s put on top and you are able to blend over. I really loved the concept and the texture of this product however it didn’t really work well with my complexion. This mauve color was about the same color as my under eyes so when placing it in the lids make me look a bit tired or almost bruised. If this was a different color I might have enjoyed the product as a blush or lip color but the finish has a slight slip texture that may not be enjoyable as a lip product. This did work as a eyeshadow base but recommend to go with darker or cooler toned colors as the pigment can quickly muddy up with certain colors. If you tend to become oily on the eyelids I would refrain from using this product. Beautiful color
Coming from someone who's not huge on makeup, meaning I wear the basic face makeup (foundation, blush, bronzer), mascara, and throw on some lipgloss or chapstick, I love this product! I don't usually wear eyeshadow, but this is a quick, easy, and BEAUTIFUL addition to my everyday look that I can use either at home or on the go. The wand picks up the perfect amount of formula and the color is everything! I have lighter skin, but I think it would be gorgeous on alllll skintones. Wow great product
I am excited to use this eyeshadow as a primer. Goes on easily and I stays there all day. Adds subtle colour to the eye which can then be built on and enhanced with so many lovey ButterLondon powder eyeshadows in the range. Love it and will be getting other colours.

Loved the packaging and was curious if it would do what it promised!! Not to make my wrinkles look worse. I was unsure of the mauve color at first but once applied I noticed how it immediately brightened the area and made the eye area look so much more youthful and rested. I felt the pigment gives you that color pop that your eyes need. I also liked the fact that it camouflaged any of those veins very nicely. This definitely has that primer feel but without feeling heavy or settling in all the cracks of your lid. Love that it has great ingredients for the skin too! I feel this gives you that no makeup makeup look . This also stayed put on the lid and did not budge for several hours. Definitely recommend for anyone who has mature lids.
