Lamp came exactly as expected. I didn't get a standing lamp with a traditional shade because I didn't want it to clash with the other lampshades in the room. It looks great, was simple to assemble and throws a nice light.

Highly satisfied

I'm so in love with the simple, classic design of this lamp and its sturdy, high-quality construction. It elevates the appearance of my whole efficiency apartment and makes me happy every time I look at it. I bought a 150 watt maximum, 3-way light bulb for it and find that even at its lowest setting, the lamp seems extremely bright, so I may wish to change to a lower wattage 3-way bulb at some point, or perhaps switch back and forth between stronger and weaker bulbs as needed. On the bright side (lol), if I ever want extremely strong light to illumine my whole living space, I know it's at my command. FYI, the 3-way switch works fine with the lamp plugged into a switch-controlled socket. Assembly was intuitive, quick, and easy.

Light Switch Designed Badly

I just received this lamp and followed the simple assembly. Something is wrong with the design of the light switch. There is no way for the switch to be toggled. If I pull the switch entire socket out of the lamp pole the switch works however when in it's proper place it doesn't have enough space to be toggled. Unbelievable.
