Beautiful/Tragic love story

It is a beautifully written book that had me in tears. A sort of forbidden once in a lifetime love that was kept within Italy in B. A love cut short that stayed frozen in time. I would definitely recommend this book to hopeless romantics like myself, and it’s just beautiful because what Elio and Oliver had was just passion and so real.

Read this now

We don’t often hear thoughts like these voiced in our lives. We lock them up. Keep them secret. We hide them from others, and are even afraid to admit these feelings to ourselves at times. Aciman exposes every raw, emotional crevice of Elio’s mind. The honesty is every bit refreshing, heartbreaking, and intoxicating. A beautiful story - and if you enjoy it, watch the film!

A Book to Never Forget

I know we, as readers, are supposed to read books objectively and not adopt the morals and lessons that authors attempt to teach us so easily, but it's impossible to do that with this book. More a coming of age tale than a romance, "Call Me By Your Name" is absolutely incredible. It shares with the reader such an intimate portrayal of love, loss and everything in between. Absolutely enlightening.

A cerebral romance that is pretty sexy, honestly.

10/10

I was skeptical at first because of all the hype, but couldn’t put this down. This book is not an erotic story, it’s beyond that. So much more, sexuality in this book is only the surface level of how complicated these characters are.

Beautifully written

I had read the book over the summer and could not put it down at all. The usage of descriptive words is phenomenal and the emotions were well portrayed by the characters. I would totally recommend it! I think it's a great read for anyone, regardless of their reading level or age.
