Love, love my grill!

I received this grill last Christmas and have used nearly every week since. It makes all my home made sandwiches look and taste like deli specials! Who doesn't love a hot melted, cheesy sandwich? I have actually become more creative with my sandwiches and have tried different breads, meats and cheeses to create new meals because of the grill. Both family and friends rave about my sandwich making skills:) I would say though to be careful when the unit is hot although it cools rather quickly. Also, I accidentally swiped with a wet drag the writings and some of it smudged off. Other than that, this grill is perfect!

Convenient griling

Good product for the grill enthusiast. Making panini is worth it by itself, but indoor meat and veggie grilling is a bonus. If yu like this kind of cooking, you'll like this item.

Have not stopped using it since I bought it. Very satisfied.

Great Panini Grill

We love using this panini grill - the sandwiches come out crisp and yummy (IF you don't overfill them and remember to put cheese on both slices of bread!) - easy to clean; takes up little storage space. Just 1 "negative" - the small outside trim is starting to crack off - but since the trim isn't actually USED for anything (other than decoration), it really doesn't matter - -

Excellent for panini, fish and sausages

This grill has one of the best non-stick surfaces I've ever used. It truly is "non-stick" which makes clean-up relatively easy, if you know how to do it: put a couple of sheets of wet paper towel on warm grill and close it completely. A few minutes later, it is ready to be wiped clean with a wet paper towel or after heavier use, with dishwashing sponge with a little dishwashing detergent after which it can be wiped again with wet paper towels. The temperature control is excellent (I find I put temperature selector half-way between mid and high for sandwiches and fish), and overall it is really well made. Salmon comes out absolutely delicious - as long as it is not overcooked. Sandwiches are so good that my whole family is ODing on them. My only regret is that it is not suitable for grilling steaks as it does not produce smoke or very high temperature which I am used to with my old electrical grill; but that was a completely different type of beast which could not do sandwiches or fish because it was too strong. Having a single grill do both sandwiches and steaks is actually impossible as those two require different type of grill. The non-stick grill surface is not removable, but with easy clean-up that is not a problem. The quality of construction, well balanced weight of the top surface, ability to raise the top surface above the sandwich, good looks and perfect non-stick surface make this an excellent choice. I tried three different grills before settling on this one. This grill does not suffer from problems of more popular choices: plastic pieces which melt after few uses, or uneven heat distribution or sticky non-stick surface, which were some of the reasons I returned my other grills. This grill gives me an impression that it was designed and engineered with the end user in mind. Thank you!

Have not had the appliance long enough to judge as I haven't quite learned how to get the right amount of compression, length of time, etc. However, I am pleased with it and really enjoy how easy it is to clean! That was my biggest concern, that it would be very difficult to clean; using the thin layer of olive oil and allowing it to cool as directed works perfectly - very easy to just wipe clean. There are still many things I'm looking forward to trying.

yummy sandwiches

Yummy sandwiches, but took 2 hours to remove the sticker on the top of the panini maker. I just don't understand why "they" use stickers that are SO hard to remove.
