Calphalon Contemporary 16 inch Nonstick Roaster

I bought this as a belated wedding gift for a close friend of our daughter's. She loves it & can't wait to try it. However, I bought a similar gift of a different brand for another close friend of our daughter's bridal shower and I loved it so much that I also shortly afterwards ordered one for myself. I have used it and love it!

Loved my Roaster Pan

I made my second-ever turkey (17 lbs) in my new Calphalon roaster pan - and it was a success! The turkey cooked fully and evenly! Everyone loved the turkey, and I loved the roasting pan with rack - cleanup was a breeze, too!

Easy Cleanup

I bought this pan so I could cook the turkey for my family this past Thanksgiving. I love it. The rack was perfect for our fourteen pound turkey and I was left with enough room to place some root vegetables in the bottom of the pan to help add to the flavor. Our turkey roasted perfectly and did not stick to the rack. The best part was the cleanup. It was a breeze. We were literally able to just wipe it out and then wash it with zero scrubbing or soaking. That’s huge in my book since the cleanup is always the worst part.

Beware of Rack

Pan is great, as are accessories, but rack is PAINTED. I used this once, and the paint on the rack stuck to my turkey, and ended up in the drippings that I made gravy from. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until after dinner. Very disappointing for Calphalon.

Best Decision Ever!

Used my roaster for my Thanksgiving turkey and the turkey was amazing, however, the clean up was even more amazing! Rinsed, washed and rinsed again, absolutely nothing stuck to the pan or rack. I am so happy I had this for the holiday, will never use another brand roaster again!
