Beautiful dress, just too brown for me

This dress fits me very well (5'2", 135lbs, 36DD, narrow hips). I ordered a 10 due to the bust size, but probably could have fit in an 8 otherwise. The embroidery is beautiful. Unfortunately, it's well-described as khaki color. I was hoping it would turn out to be more toward a pink or taupe tone (or even a neutral champagne), which would complement the bridal party colors (I'm mother of the groom). But it's definitely on the warmer side - more like a tan color. So I'll have to send it back. Bummed.
