Bottom Unravels

The first time I wore the skirt the fringed hem began to unravel. Trimmed the strings and after I washed the skirt it was totally unraveled. I have a jean Fry skirt that has a fringed bottom and has a seam above the fringe so that it doesn't unravel. Poorly designed
