The perfect raincoat

I literally just got this today and it's way better than the one I got previously (which I will be returning). This is a X fit coat per the tags and it is slim fitting (NOT Modern fit). I wear a size 39 suit (only like 3 major companies carry this size) and I got the size 38 in this jacket. It fits perfectly over my blazer/suit jacket, and will leave me a bit of room when I'm not wearing that. I could have gone to a 40 and it still would have fit well - I just prefer more slim fitting stuff. If you like a little bit more room and will almost always wear a blazer/suit with this, go up one size from your suit jacket - it should still look tailored. My only gripe is that I wish it came in navy blue instead of just black - I would have preferred that color but black still looks really good.
