Too long blouse or tunic??

Why is it sooooo long? I mean I thought it would look cute untucked over my pants but it seems like it comes down to my knees! Not what thought from the picture.I

This blouse it cute and nice fabric but runs very large. I take a XS or S and ordered a S, I could pull a couple of inches of fabric on both sides of the waist. If it came in an XXS I may order that.
