Extremely poor quality
I’ve had this flatware for 6 months only and the black coating on almost all pieces has begun to wear off. I usually take very good care of all my possessions and am very disappointed with its quality. It was a waste of money and will have to purchase new flatware.

Beautiful
This flatware set feels well made and is really nice texture. I've never had black matte silverware and this really makes a difference in the feeling in your hands. It's weighted nicely and really modern looking. I just need matching accessories like spatula, slotted spoon, etc.

Nice Set!
This is an attractive set of flatware that is a perfect addition to my kitchen. I like the black satin finish and the shape of the utensils. I can't speak to the durability of the product, since I haven't used it long term.

Sleek Modern Look
I'm enjoying using my Cambridge Averie Black Satin Flatware Set. This set is a service for 4, and consists of 20 pieces. The flatware has some weight to it and each piece is very durable. The smooth handles fit comfortably in my hand. The knife is serrated and cuts into my food with ease. I was worried that this flatware would scuff or scratch easily, but it's made of stainless steel and it feels solid. It is Chromium plated, but built to last. The set comes with 4 dinner forks, 4 salad forks, 4 dinner knives, 4 teaspoons, and 4 dinner spoons. I really like the sleek black modern look of this set. It looks very nice on my table when it's set. It can be used for a fancy occasion or it can even be used for everyday use. This flatware is easy to care for, and is dishwasher-safe. Even though it is dishwasher safe, I prefer to wash my stainless steel by hand to prolong its use. You can tell that Cambridge takes pride in their work by the quality of this set. It even comes with a 25-year warranty for defects and craftsmanship. Overall, I'm very pleased with this set.

Just what we’ve been looking for!
We’ve been so happy with this silverware since we got it. Ahead of first use we hand washed per manufacture recommendation. However, we’re busy and to always hand wash is slight unrealistic for us, so in the dishwasher it went. It has held up wonderfully and our concerns of the finish being affected by the dishwasher heat has not been a problem. This silverware has a great weight and balance. As for the looks, It is a great balance of elegant, masculine, and modern. Also, no dark marks on our dishes! We’ve started with a set of 4 and am strongly considering purchasing another set. For us, this flatware is a big win!!

Beautiful addition to our table
I am so pleased with the Cambridge Black Stainless Steel flatware set. The matte finish is beautiful and is so pretty with my china pattern. I love, love, love the simplicity of the flatware pattern- the squared off ends are contemporary yet will be timeless. The knives are serrated which is an added bonus and each piece has some weight to it which adds to its quality. The 25-year warranty attests to the Cambridge commitment to customer service. I can’t wait for the upcoming holiday season!
