Ideal for traditional style homes, this table lamp has a classical silhouette made of a base of brushed Cardiff iron and beautiful champagne glass designed to resemble a classical urn. A night light is located behind the translucent glass and emits a warm glow when turned on. The color of the beige bell shade complements the champagne glass in the base nicely. This lamp set comes with a tabletop dimmer, one for each lamp, which allows you to control the level of lighting. Simply insert the lamp plug into the dimmer outlet, and then slide the switch on the control to dim or brighten the lighting.

Faulty on off switches

I love these lamps. They are beautiful and unusual. However, I am disappointed in the switches. Shortly after I received my lamps the night light on one went out. That was no big deal. What is a big deal is the fact that both switches to turn the lamps on and off are defective. They don't always turn the lamp on and will blink on or off just when the switch is touched. Sometimes they don't even come on. I feel these lamps are a safety hazard. They need new switches. I have had them 12 months and have had problems with them at least 6 months or more. I don't trust the lamps to leave them on if I'm not going to be home. These lamps are very good quality and well built. It's sad the manufacturer put cheap switches in them.
