Slenderizing for Hourglass and Pear. Well done!
Slenderizing skirt for hourglass and pear. Wide waist band cinches your waist. Skirt covers thighs nicely. What I really like about the skirt is that there is not a lot of material - which adds bulk. I tried this on, then another brand's swimskirt, and the difference was extraordinary, just due to waistband (wide vs narrow) and amount of skirt material. (I looked much thinner in this!) Unlike the previous reviewer, I went up a size in the skirt. Usually, I order a 12 in swim bottoms. I tried on a L and XL and the XL fit best in the 'potchko' area just below the waist before the hips. (You know, the part that bulges out a bit.) The L fit but I could see the potchko a lot more. The XL covered it up better. ;-) If your belly is toned and/or you are younger, go with your regular size. If meno-belly age, size up. For reference: I am 5'4", 152 lbs, long torso/short legs, 36D/38C, thickening (aging) hourglass. Wish Carmen Marc Valvo made this swimskirt in more color selections. Well done!
Wow
Absolutely flattering. This swimsuit is true to size. I am 5'6" and 160lbs and typically wear between M and L (mostly M) for best comfortable fit. I ordered this piece in a L which the bikini was slightly too big but overall a cute and comfortable fit, so stay on your regular size with this piece. The top I ordered in XL which I am slightly top heavier and could hv sized down to a L instead…so again, stay true to your size. The way the bralette surplices in front can leave your volume more exposed and not secure for a swim. Overall a very flattering and fun 2 piece skirtini….I just wished I sized down, but because I love it so much and my size wasn't available, I'm keeping!
