50/50 shot, warped but beautiful wood.

Warped but beautiful. Purchased this as a gift and it was well received until they went to use it. The board was warped right in the center so it literally spins. We wanted this board/block because it didn’t have feet, a potential point of failure, I also loved the weight of this board/block, very substantial.

Warped and cracked

This did not make it through canning season . It got warped and cracked. What is the warranty on this?

IMPRESSIVE!

Gave this as a gift to a chef who owns a bustling restaurant - he's seen everything but this cutting board immediately impressed him. It's so richly made an luxurious looking it can't help but catch your eye, not to mention it weighs a ton! This is a showstopper. Well made and durable I know it'll be in their family for years to come.

Heavy Duty/ Thirsty Board

Excellent heavy duty board. this thing is thirtsy though. I used 32oz of boos mystery oil over two weeks before it stopped absorbing it (I didn't cut on it during this time).

This weighs a ton. It is quite difficult to move, so I’m glad it has the “finger slots”.

"HORRIBLE"

I was looking forward to using my new cutting board. When I opened the box the Catskill board was split in half (not crack). The expression on my face was pure disappointment. The cutting board had only a clear plastic cover on it. Maybe if it was wrapped more securely perhaps this would've have happen. This product is very beautiful and heavy. I read the reviews on another Catskill cutting board and they were horrible. The reviews on this particular board are excellent. That was the reason I chose this one. I immediately called Macy's customer service and the Representative I spoke with was awesome. She immediately credited my account and asked if I would dispose the defective board.

Super heavy duty

Very well made. The board is very heavy and beautiful to the eye. I would definitely recommend.
