Smaller and sleeker

I bought this a few weeks ago after my old 20 year old bread maker finally died. This one is overall smaller and sleeker than my old one and it is quieter. I am enjoying trying the new recipes in the recipe booklet.

My family loves the bread maker

I grew up with a bread maker, and I wanted to share making fresh bread with my kids. We love the bread maker. The recipes are pretty simple and so is the machine. We instantly made a fresh loaf as soon as it arrived. We make 1-2 loaves a week, and everyone prefers it over store bought bread.

Nice little machine.

I made my first loaf of bread and it was delicious. This machine is compact and easy to use. It is very light and I hope it holds up to my previous bread machine that lasted 30 years.

Set and Forget

I decided to make my own bread due to a health condition and after wasting hours in markets reading labels (both organic, gluten and regular) of breads I decided I would venture this route due that we eat a-lot of bread. This machine is so easy to use and the recipes are simple I just adjust the ingredients to suit our dietary needs. You simply fill it set and forget.

Disappointed.

I purchased this because of the great reviews. Using the recipes that came with it, I have made the basic bread recipe with disappointing results. I have tried different size loaves, I used name brand ingredients, changed the brand of ingredients, following the recipes exactly as they are printed. The bread comes out dense and darker than I would like. I have the machine set on the lightest setting. Perhaps I have a defective machine?
