Love sweater, but it's shape could be better

For the most part, I Love this sweater. The colors, the feel, and the length are lovely. However, the shape is not very flattering. It gets wide at the waist to hip area. It would have been perfect if the shape had just been straight without the outwardly curved waist area.

This sweater is so cute. Very soft and comfy! I went down a size because it is over sized, but I could have easily gone with my usual size M
