In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's perfume with a woman's scent." Beaux presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance, and decided to name it simply N°5. In 1924, she launched the N°5 Eau de Toilette, a warm, bright version of the now and forever fragrance.

A true classic! Chanel No 5 is still relevant today and gives me such a sense of nostalgia! I remember my mom wearing this in her day and the sweet smell I loved as a child. So happy I bought it!

Fabulous Fragrance!

I have been using Chanel #5 for many years. I always get compliments on the fragrance. I've got a few people hooked on it too! Very clean, not overpowering, simply wonderful!

Chanel no. 5 . A contemporary classic

Chanel no. 5 is still a stunning fragrance. I wear it every day…even with jeans. Its scent is subtle, classic but also contemporary. I also layer it with the parfume for a lasting scent. When you wear it, be prepared for positive comments from both men and women.
