Has potential

I was looking for single, white sheets to complete a couple white sheet sets that somehow lost their top sheets. (Very few stores actually sell separates!) So, the fact that Macy's had separates was a real plus for me! Here's why I chose a rating of 4 stars (rather than 5): I was looking for cotton sateen, but no store offered sateen separates. These sheets (I ordered 2) were rated as soft. I would say that after the first washing, they were better than when they arrived. I have faith that a few more wash loads will get rid of all the sizing in the fabric, making them almost as soft as our usual sateen sheets. One thing I do like is that the sheets is that they are not heavy. They are fairly lightweight, but they do just fine. They're easy to launder and seem to be high quality fabric. So, would I recommend them? Absolutely.

Great value for the cost

These sheets are smooth, soft and cool. They withstand a hot water wash and hot dry without a lot of wrinkling. I bought a well-known and very expensive set of sheets which are not nearly as nice as these. I highly recommend.
