So Disappointed!

So disappointed with this pair of Jeans. First, I purchase and wear Charter Club Jeans all the time. So, this is not a brand I am unfamiliar with, and I know my sizing for Charter Club. Where to start with the complaints? First, I thought these were normal black jeans, because that is how they look in the picture to me. When they arrived, they are a weird large checked/square pattern and the lines are kind of a velour feel. I went back to the website to see what the heck I had ordered, sure I had been sent the wrong pants. Upon further review, if you click on additional photos, with a close-up you can see the pattern there, but you don't see it in the first photo shown. AND, these don't fit well at all. I typically am wearing a regular 18, but ordered these in an 18W because they wear on clearance. I figured the 18W would actually be cut more liberally. I could barely zip the 18W closed, and after wearing for a workday, they hurt. It was like the waist on this particular pair was cut too small? I considered returning, but I had already removed the tags, and for the bargain clearance price, I just decided to let it go. Not worth the aggravation. Hoping I can lose a few pounds and wear them at some point in the future.

Very stylish pants - pic does not do them justice

Love these pants. They have a 'smart' upscale look that does not photograph well here online. Well worth the money. Have yet to wear them but they fit me perfectly when I bought them at the store.
