So comfy!!
Purchased this mattress for my guest bedroom about 2 yrs ago. I was a bit hesitant about ordering it without testing it out first, but it worked out well. While I can't speak to the longevity of the mattress, the comfort is superb. Every guest that has slept in it always tells us how comfortable it is and how well they sleep. Before we replaced our mattress, there were many nights that my husband or I would wind up leaving our room to go sleep on this bed. I plan on buying another when it is time to get my son a new mattress as well.

Overall good mattress
Overall good mattress. I was surprised at how well it puffed up after coming flat in a box. It was pretty comfortable, and my spouse and I don't sense each other's movements as much on it. The one down side is that we both were a little hot on it...Maybe that will be great when we are using it in the winter.

Just right!
Mattress in a box, who knew! Gets delivered right at your front door! It is heavy. Unwraps out of the plastic and literally rises up to the approx thickness of 12 inches. I had a serta perfect sleeper pillowtop mattress was to soft and woke up with back pain. This mattress no more lower back pain! Needs a good 24 hours to decompress. First laying on the mattress does seem firm but then after a week or so it has a little more give due to the memory foam. So this is a cushion firm mattress in my opinion.. right in the middle not to hard not to soft. I am quite impressed! I second guessed myself ordering a mattress not only that I couldn't lay on, but that came in a box. I don't regret my decison. If your looking for a cushion firm mattress I would give this a try! It does have a tuffed top to it and looks exactly how described.

Good but not great
I love the look of this mattress but it's not as firm as I thought it would be. Heavy, has a durable look but I'm not sure about the life of it. It's a decent sleep but not the best.

Love this mattress!
To be honest, this is the third mattress we have tried in the last year and a half since my surgery and this is the one we’re keeping! I’ve always loved a firm mattress but, after hip surgery, the one we had was a little too firm for me. This one is foam wrapped coils and, while it is still firm, it has a lot of “give” to it. I have no problem getting comfortable at night. My husband and I both love it and wouldn’t trade it for the world!

firm but comfortable
This was our 1st mattress in a box. It was pretty cool how it expanded after we opened it and, unlike what we had read online, it had no smell to it. So we just let it air out for the afternoon before putting it on our box spring. The mattress was way too hard the 1st night but it softened somewhat over the next few days before stabilizing. At that point, it was a little firm but comfortable. It holds it shape real well so if you are laying at the edge, you won't roll off. If you want a mattress that is extra firm or soft, this is not for you. But if you want a mattress on the slightly firm side, this mattress should meet your needs.

Best sleep ever
We had slept on a top grade mattress and could not believe how nice this mattress is. Very comfortable and haven’t slept this well in a long time.

Just right!
One of the first remarkable things about this mattress is how it is shipped - compressed and rolled up into a box. I needed help getting it into my house, but after it was opened and expanded, I was able to handle it myself. I have avoided memory foam mattresses because I have been told that they 'suffocate' or constrict you, and I believe a mattress can only provide the support I seek if it's made with coils. So I thought a hybrid would be a good compromise for me to try and I'm glad I did. My old mattress was a firm, conventional coil mattress (a high-quality, recognized name brand) that has always felt a bit too hard. This hybrid mattress is still firm, but somehow softer. It feels like it's hugging you slightly, but still provides the back support I expect in a good quality mattress. And as a side sleeper, that little 'hug' is easier on my neck! One note - when the vacuum packaging is removed you may notice a chemical smell. I have a sensitive nose and after letting it air for a couple of days (to let the chemical smell diminish and to let the mattress fully decompress) I could still smell it. I had two friends help me get the mattress into my house and neither of them could smell it. My suggestion is to let it decompress for at least 24 hours to allow the mattress to come to full expansion and to let the chemical smell disappear.
