Perfect replacement

I spent time researching many different cutlery sets and decided on the 500 series. These forged knifes are amazing and beautifully balanced. I had my last set of Chicago cutlery for 20 years. Sharpest knifes I've used and I cook a lot. Fantastic price.

HORRIBLE!!! Not even 1 star

I can't return these back to the store fast enough. I bought these because of the reviews. I figured a few bad ratings couldn't be that bad. I said to myself that someone is going to complain and you can't make everyone happy. The steak knives were "DULL!!!" I did hours of research....smh. I suggest you take the time and go to a store.

Sharp Knives again

Needing a new set of sharp knives, I selected on this set as it had the knives that I would normally use. I have to say I am really happy with them, they are a nice weight and work beautifully. I also liked the style of the block.

High Quality Knife Set

We just received this knife set and are very impressed with the quality of the knives. It has a variety of knifes that I have never seen in my previous knife block sets and also comes with photos and descriptions of the best use for each knife. The bread knife, vegetable knife and sandwich knife are ones that I am looking forward to testing it. The only thing to be wary of is that the instructions say they should not be washed in a dishwasher. I don't mind that because I always have a few dishes that need washing by hand but I'm glad I read the instructions and saw that before throwing them in the dishwasher with my old knives.
