i wanted to love this skirt so bad

I waited for this skirt to go on sale and had purchased a 14w and 16w just to cover my bases. I tried the 14w on first and it is very stretchy, being a weird polyester/elastane fabric, and would even stay up. The fabric is heavy with a lining under it and it did not sit right or fall right or look right on me whatsoever. I am 5'7 and for me to hike this skirt up to a high waist look... it was still long. Awesome concept... flawed execution.
