I have neglected my hands over the years and they're paying me back. As soon as winter rolls in, my fingertips crack and I have little snaggies that put holes in my stockings. I also have begun to develop the brown spots we all dread. I decided to purchase a high-end hand lotion because this winter has been harder than usual on my hands. I have been using Clarins Super Restorative Hand Cream for about a month, and it does everything it promises. My hands feel immediately relieved when I put it on, the skin has become more supple, and the brown spots have begun to fade. I like this hand cream a lot, and would consider purchasing it again when I run out, but I am not particularly fond of the scent. It's quite strong - very perfumy - which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. It may very well be a Clarins signature scent, but it's a bit much.

This hand cream is excellent. My hands were soft and supple after the first application. Too soon to tell if the dark spots fade. The smell is off-putting, however. As a person sensitive to smells, I won’t purchase again. It’s close to nauseating. I’ll go back to l’Occitane. It works AND smells wonderful.

Smells like perfume
Unfortunately I have to dilute with another product to lessen the strong scent.
