Perfect shoe for more formal needs

I bought these shoes for a male high school senior who needed more formal clothing for his graduation attire. Clark's is a personal favorite, so I ordered this pair, hoping they would fit the bill for graduation, job interviews, etc. The shoe is a nice dress style on the more conservative side, which is what I wanted. The footbed was nicely padded, and the shoe was of good quality. I made a good choice with this shoe, and the student was very happy to get them.

Bad smell

After 6 months of use, it is started to smell bad. This has been the case whenever I buy Clarks shoes. Never going to buy this brand again!

Shoes were worn

When I received shoes, I opened shoe box to find that shoes had been worn. Wouldn't think that they would actually be sold again. Very dissatisfied. Shouldn't have been required to purchase shipping charges.

Runs Narrow

The shoe is really nice, but they are very narrow. I am normally a size 12, but the 12 was too narrow for me. The 13 would be too long. Wish there was either a 12.5 size or a 12W.
